Training Services

Bartlett Nuclear, Inc. (BNI) has been providing training services and consultants including trainers, training management personnel, subject matter experts and fully integrated training programs to both commercial and government facilities. We develop and implement radiological protection programs in support of every phase of a nuclear facility’s lifecycle from licensing through operations, decommissioning and license termination. Through our proprietary consultant database, we have the unique capability of providing instructors at numerous site locations nationwide.

BNI currently has over 400 active personnel with professional instructor experience and over 100 active personnel with training supervisory and/or managerial experience, including a member of our senior leadership team who is a former licensee site traning director with extensive experience in the systematic approach to training (SAT) and multiple appearances before the National Nuclear Accreditation Board.

Commitment to Training

BNI’s commitment to training was reinforced in 2005 by the creation of the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) position, assumed by a BNI executive vice president, former NRC inspector and Certified Health Physicist. CTO responsibilities include creation and oversight of internal BNI training and providing technical input and BNI organizational support to nuclear professional organizations (e.g.; NEI, ANS, etc.) and institutions of higher learning. In this manner BNI actively supports the nuclear industry goal to reinvigorate technical training programs and fill the pipeline with trained radiation protection personnel. Additionally, the CTO ensures BNI organizational support for licensee training program requirements and initiatives.
